I FLEW 2730 MILES ACROSS THE COUNTRY! 

 

I have been competing in the sport of triathlon for 5 years. All of which, I have never been comfortable on my bike. Like many triathletes I have invested a lot of money in my bike and numerous fittings. After 5 years of pain and frustration I decided to start fresh and buy a new bike.

 

I live in South Florida and have been to every local bike shop and spoken with numerous local fit specialists. I could not find a shop or fit specialist that could instill enough confidence in me to make that big purchase again. Like many of us, I read everything I can find on the sport of triathlon and talk to everyone who will listen to me ramble on about the “Perfect Bike”. I found Triathlon Lab’s web site and started to read about Lloyd and his shop in Redondo Beach, CA. It all sounded too good to be true! A shop dedicated to triathlon with a performance lab and a pro mechanic all in one.

 

I have never found a shop that will let you test ride the bikes you see in the magazines. I was interested in a new Softride Fastt, but had some concerns because I was afraid to make another mistake. After my first call to Triathlon Lab I was sold on Lloyd and his staff. After interviewing almost 30 different shops it was obvious that Lloyd was a true specialist and knows his industry well. He made me believe he would make me love my bike and be comfortable and fresh for my run after T2. He also made my decision simple by telling me to come down and take his Softridide Fastt out for a ride for a few hours and see what I think. At this point it seemed like I was ready for a brief CA vacation. Lloyd and his staff were very helpful in planning my visit. When I arrived at Triathlon Lab I was overwhelmed on how impressive their shop was. I was now looking at all the cool tri stuff I see in the Mags.

 

Lloyd and his Staff, Robert and Jerry were professional, friendly and made my son and I feel welcome like we were friends for years. Lloyd custom built and fit me to my new Softride Fastt and I am thrilled. I was impressed with his attention to detail in the build process. I spent 3 days at Triathlon Lab riding my work in progress. Lloyd continued to fine tune my position and build to where I now have no pain at all. I am now comfortable on my bike and it feels like every inch of the bike was built just for me. It seems unfair to everyone else that a bike can be this fast and this comfortable! During my stay, I spent a lot of time in the shop and watched his staff deal with lots of customers of all experience levels. It is obvious that Lloyd has created a shop that is the best in its class.

 

I would recommend Triathlon Lab to everyone, no matter how far you have to drive or fly. I can not thank you guys enough, Lloyd, Robert and Jerry thank you for making this a wonderful experience for me!
