400-Mile Bike Short (BS8) - 2008

This is an improved and even more comfortable version of the 400-Mile™ Bike Short De Soto Sports introduced in 2007. The most exciting change is that the 400-Mile™ pad floats and stretches which means it can be used as a race short in a triathlon. Swim, bike and run in it! This 11-panel bib has a Carrera™ Piqué Abdomen panel and piping for added comfort and flexibility on long rides. Drawstring elastic waist, Curvilinear™ seamlines, contrast flatstitch, and the 400-Mile™ Pad make it the most comfortable short money can buy. The pad actually stretches with the short and follows your skin as it moves with every pedal stroke, eliminating the friction that can cause irritation or rashes. It has 3 pockets (one on each leg, and one in back) that fit cell phones, mp3 players, fuel packets, and most sunglasses. One of the great features of this short is what it does not have…no leg gripper, so there is no tight binding around the thighs. The short stays down and in place since it is made of Ribbed™ Lycra® Power™
